Hello,
Generally,to get a seat in govt Medical college, you must score more than 500 is enough (to get seat in State)!According to the allotments , previous round results and previous year cutoff marks, scoring between 500-600 can give you top Govt Medical colleges ! But Scoring around 400-450 also gives if you have any SC/ST caste category ,but that is secondary!
So you must score 525+ marks(as of this year) to get a seat in govt college, if you belong to UR /OBC category, and for AIQ seats !
hope this helps,
Thanks & Regards,
SIRISHA SANATHA.
Hi Azam,
As per your query about marks cutoff, you must be knowing that there is All India Quota 15 % and State government quota 85%. Cut off by All India quota is always higher than state quota. Further in both the quota the SEAT is further divided as per category like Open, SC, OBC, ST, etc..It will vary for each group. The Cutoff also varies in Government, Private and Deemed University also differ from college to college even in government /private/Deemed. The marks vary each year based on the difficulty level of the paper. You should target to obtain around 480-600 marks.
Good Luck!
