see cutoff scores depends on the question level difficulty, number of participants, seat matrix stc, it also varies among categories like general categories cutoff is higher than obc, sc, st. there is almost 16000+ seats in nits including all streams of engineering, so you need to have below 25000 under rank in general to get admission in top nits. nits like north east nits, manipur, meghlaya, harimpur has lowest cutoff than top nits. it will be good to have more than 95 percentile marks in jee main to get into any nits. you may follow the below link to know about closing ranks of nits from below link:
