IIT Kharagpur has already released the date of JEE advanced according to which it will be conducted on 3rd July.
Your JEE mains 2021 will be conducted in four sessions i. e
*February session :- 23rd, 24th, 25th & 26th February 2021
* March session:- 15, 16, 17 & 18 March 2021
*April session :- 27, 28, 29 & 30 April 2021
* May session :- 24, 25, 26, 27 & 28 May 2021
So, the last session of Jee main will end in may while JEE advanced will be conducted in July so there's a round 1 month gap between JEE mains and advanced which you get. Thus, only one month is left for JEE advanced after JEE Mains
To help you further, jee advanced examination pattern is given below so that you can prepare accordingly
JEE advanced examination pattern keeps changing every year a little bit.
JEE advanced examination pattern is given below based on past years :-
* JEE advanced consists of two papers:-
Paper I
Paper II
* time :- 3 hours for each of paper, 4 hours in case of pwd candidate for each paper
* both the papers have three sections
PAPER I :-
*Physics
*Chemistry
*Mathematics
In jee advanced 2020 ,paper 1 consisted of a total of 54 questions with 18 questions in each section.
PAPER II :-
*Physics
*Chemistry
*Mathematics
In jee advanced 2020 , paper 2 also consisted of a total of 54 questions with 18 questions in each section
MARKING SCHEME :- You get 0 mark, full mark and partial mark.
TYPES OF QUESTIONS ASKED:-
* Questions with single Correct Option :- you get 3 marks if the option chosen by you is correct and 0 mark if you haven't attempted it and -1 mark is the option chosen by you is wrong.
*Questions with one or more correct option :- you get 4 Marks if you choose all the correct options, you get 3 marks if 4 options are correct but you choose only three correct options , you get 2 marks if three options are correct but you choose only 2 correct options and you get 1 mark if two or more are options are correct but you choose only one option and that is correct and in the rest of the cases you get -2 marks and 0 if you don't attempt the question
* Question with numerical value answer :- No options are there. You get 4 marks if the numerical value entered by you is correct, 0 mark if you leave it o un attempted or the numerical value entered by you is wrong.
*Question with single digit integer answer :- You get 3 marks if the digit entered by you is correct, 0 mark if you don't attempt the question and -1 mark if the digit entered by you is wrong.
*List Match Sets question :- You get 3 marks if you choose the option corresponding to the correct combination. 0 mark if you don't attempt the question and -1 mark if the option chosen by you is wrong
