Hi Minakshi,

EWS quota will not have any major effect on the cutoff this year in my opinion. According to the criteria of EWS, almost all of the general category students will fall under the quota(~90% students). So if all of the students are given the quota it is like giving none of them any. This will down the cutoff but, the change will not be that much.

The change may be of about 1% or even less than the CRL(Common Rank List).
