How much weightage does it give on 10-12 academics in selection.
Hello Vaishali,
The selection here is similar to any other B-School in India. The evaluation of a candidate here is done in a holistic manner i.e. they consider the complete profile in the selection. They mostly prefer well-rounded candidates with a good track record overall. A good score in CAT/XAT/MAT will help but your profile, work experience, and extra-curricular activities will definitely improve your chances.
To be eligible for one year PG programme, you need to have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized institution along with at least a two years of work experience along with a good academic record; and for two years programme, you need to have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized institution. Candidates with less than two years of work experience or fresh graduates are only allowed for the two years programme.
Admission is made on the basis of Shortlisting and then final selection round.
The Shortlisting is done on the basis of the following parameters:
i. Aggregate scores from CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT
ii. Academic profile plays an important role in shortlisting. Candidates with a consistent academic background and the ability to handle pressure will be shortlisted.
Final Selection round will take into consideration the following criteria:
i. Performance in Personal Interview will be awarded high weightage.
ii. Analytical Writing Skills testing the written communication skills and thought process of the candidates will contribute to the selection.
iii. Quality of work experience, professional and personal achievements, demonstrated leadership and team skills, aptitude and attitude will play a key role in the selection process. Candidates who have exhibited leadership skills at work or in college/school shall be preferred.
iv. Excellent Academic scores will be awarded due weightage in the final selection round.
v. Integrity and ethical values with originality is also a key role in selection.
