B.A. Course, popularly known as Bachelor of Arts, is an undergraduate program in liberal arts, the sciences. The Arts course is considered to be a flexible course that permits the student to choose a course which is the best match for their career interest.
For students to pursue Bachelor of Arts, all they need is a minimum passing mark in Class XII from a recognized board.
BA Admission usually takes place on the basis of merit, but there are several entrance exams as well like NPAT, BHU UET,etc.
- The duration of B.A. is 3 years.
- As part of a BA course the students need to study five compulsory subjects along with few elective subjects. These subjects vary depending on the discipline selected by candidates.
- Candidates can pursue a BA course as full time course/a part time course/correspondence course/ a distance education mode.
- For students to pursue Bachelor of Arts, all they need is a minimum passing mark in Class XII from a recognized board.
- Some of the colleges and universities conduct entrance exams for students to be eligible for the course. Admission also takes place through entrance exams like DUET, BHU UET, IPU CET, JSAT, TISS NET, etc. Scores in these entrance exams and/or Class XII percentages are considered during the B.A admission.
