For getting admission in Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore, non-Karnataka students need to apply through KEA when the application process starts. While filling the application form, they need to select the option saying outside state/non-Karnataka. An outside state applicant in Karnataka is eligible for three kinds of medical seats i.e. MBBS-OPN, MBBS-OTHERS and MBBS-NRI. Last year in first round of counselling the cut off rank for Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences for MBBS-OPN was 13393, for MBBS-OTHERS was 76399 and for NRI was 668325.
