Students get a good opportunity quite often to interact with both professors and alumni at AIMS IBS. AIMS alumni are the network of all the former graduate students who graduated from this college and got settled in different fields. Students find it more inspiring when they listen to the experiences of their seniors both in terms of studies as well as career choice. Our alumni meet once in a while and they come up with their new ideas and experiences and some students come up with the job reference also so that their juniors can be benefitted. Students meeting professors and alumni help in the overall functioning of the institute. After completion of their MBA course some students may have doubts in making the career choice and they may need guidance and suggestions. Our professors encourage students to meet them at any hour of need and clarify all their doubts both in terms of subject and also career. Our alumni also extend their help by clarifying the doubts of the students which they have connecting with the job profile and companies. During the alumni meet the students leave their contact numbers and email ids, so that students can contact them in the hour of need. Being in contact with the professors and alumni the students can get timely latest updates. They can get assistance at the time of placements. They are also free to at alumni@theaims.ac.in (mailto:alumni@theaims.ac.in) in case of any suggestions or queries. So, the students can be confident and can always have a good interaction with their professors and seniors. At times the interaction can be more formal like discussing in a group and at times the students can individually also discuss with them. This interaction would help the students in understanding the competitive world outside and prepares them in being more confident.

The alumni remains in contact with their alma mater through the IBS Alumni Federation (IBSAF) and  through the former IBS students. This network also acts a strong point for IBS and its corporate relations .This college knows that the majority of contemporary and specialised courses should be also teached by industry professionals with field experience so they  bring their expertise to the classroom. This field expertise is of immense help to the students.  Therefore, wherever there is such a need, visiting faculty services are used.
