How percentile can be calculated
Percentile scores are based on the relative performance of all those who appear for the examination. The formula for calculating percentile is as follows :
100 X (Number of candidates appeared in the "Session" with raw score EQUAL TO OR LESS than the candidate) / (Total number of the candidates appeared in the ‟Session‟)
The percentile is not calculated based on your marks,
Rather it is calculated the number of students performed better than you.
For example if your percentile is 90,then you are in top 10 percent from the number of students attempted.
So in 100 members your rank is probably 10th rank.
So it is difficult to calculate your raw marks.
