Hello aspirant,

You must first take the UPSC civil service test in order to work as a collector. That test can be taken by any Indian, Nepali, or Bhutanese who has graduated from an institution recognised by the government in any stream. Any graduating degree from the science, business, or arts fields will do. Additionally, you should be between the ages of 20 and 30, though there are some exceptions for OBC and SC/ST categories. Candidates must be at least 33 years old for OBC status and 35 years old for SC/ST status.
