They will publish your rank card and it will be public with your marks if you enter your date of birth and registration number for Neet

After that a rank list will also come out which will give you the allotted ranks for the different students who have appeared in NEET examination for your respective year

After that you'll have verification of Documents of eligible candidates along with online rounds of counselling during which you will get to know which college you been allotted in whether you want to or not upgrade in the subsequent rounds in terms of colleges

On an average if you get above 500 out of 720 year in good course to get into a good college either by the state of the all India quota

You will get to know by your rank and marks published in neet ug results. For qualifying neet ug exam, you must score atleast 50 percentile (if general category candidate) or 40 percentile (if reserved category candidate)..

However you must be in merit list of all india quota counselling's list or in the individual state's merit list to which you are domiciled..

Good luck..

Once you write the exam, all different coaching will release the answer key according to which you will analyse your approximate score. (There might be any discrepancy in answer keys released or sometimes people bubble the wrong answer unknowingly!)

The cutoff will be predicted which give an idea way before the actual results are released.

When the official result is released you will be also given further instructions  on how to go about further counselling.

After the declaration of aiq rank you can get an idea about your selection through the college predictor in careers 360 website and the previous year cutoffs. And after  state list the same will be known fot your state.

Keep 2 things in your mind:

1) ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA : This is the first step. There are a set of rules enlisted in the official website of examination conducting board. Every criteria has to be fulfilled, after which you will be eligible for appearing for NEET-UG examination. Once that is done, proceed to the next step.

2)MERIT LIST POST RESULTS ANNOUNCEMENT : After you've appeared for the examination the next most important task at hand is to analyze your results once they are declared. A merit list is prepared based on how much students have scored in the examination. Not all the students who qualify the examination get a seat in a medical college. Only the creamy layer of the performers manage to bag a seat.

If I were to give you a gist, the top 5000 students on an average happen to bag a seat in some medical college under OPEN CATEGORY through all India 15% quota.

A similar list is prepared at a state level for the allotment of 85% of the seats through the state level counselling. You need to keep a track of the counseling schedule of the state to which you belong to.

Dear Jaysri,

It will be mention in your result whether you are eligible for the counselling or not for 15% quota.

Every state will also release their merit list so you can attend counselling accordingly.

Good Luck!!
