- Start early
- know the syllabus properly and write it down yourself
- Know the exam pattern well
- Fix a study schedule, note which section has more marks weightage
- Pick correct reference material, some books for preparing gate will be mentioned in the link below
- You should always consult a teacher or your coaching centre teacher in case of any confusion, you should always clear your confusions
- join Coaching centre, now this isn't necessary but coaching centres definitely provide pace
