You have to focus on both 11th and 12th class. Generally, weightage of class 12th is more than 11th class but 11th class is your base. So, you can't ignore it and to secure good marks in BITSAT your concepts should be strong.

You can follow below preparation tips to secure good marks in BITSAT

For BITSAT don’t waste time solving lengthier questions, but root for questions which are more concept based. You must have all formulas and equations (algebraic and chemical alike) on your fingertips. Know that almost seventy percent of the question paper is formula based.

The most important out of all the BITSAT tips and tricks is and most efficient is time management.

You can divide your time for separate questions.

BITSAT is online test. So, solve online test series as much you can.

BITSAT is the only examination amongst all its contemporaries which provides its candidates with Bonus questions. Along with the sum total of 150 questions, it allows students to attempt an extra 12 questions but this comes with a catch. Once you opt for bonus questions, you have to submit your answers to the original 150 questions and you can’t revert back to review those answers. As risky as this may sound, many students attempt the bonus questions to score the extra edge. It is wiser to check the 150 answers before opting for the bonus questions as once you land on the bonus questions, there is no going back to those 150 questions you answered.

BITSAT & JEE MAINS both exams are differ in question paper structure but if you prepare well for the mains then it will easy to cover the bitsat syllabus easily. You need to focus mainly on NCERT books it will help you to clear your basic concept.

Here are some preparation tips you can follow:

Make your Study Schedule: You need to plan before starting your BITSAT preparation. And need to devide the time subject & topic wise.

Work on your Strengths and Weakness: The strong areas will contribute maximum to the score while the weak areas require maximum attention. Therefore, you need to rigorously practice questions from all the difficult topics.

Thorough Revision:

Revision is most important part if you want to retain the knowledge they have covered while preparing. Daily revision of whatever you have covered during preparation eliminates the risk of forgetting the information. Spend 2-3 hours regularly for revising old topics you have covered.

Use Sample Papers and Mock Test Series:

Refer to BITSAT previous year sample papers and past year question papers to check out the pattern of questions and the weight-age of important topics.

Good Luck!

BITSAT 2018 syllabus will be based on NCERT syllabus for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English Proficiency & Logical Reasoning sections of the exam. So I would suggest you to follow below provided preparation tips as these will be helpful for you -

Work on the syllabus: No, it is not enough to simply become familiar with the syllabus of BITSAT 2018.

Find out what is the exam pattern: Another BITSAT preparation tip involves learning about the exam pattern, like what subjects are covered, the types of questions asked, and marking scheme.

Put a method to your madness (preparation): You must have in place a study plan. It needn't be rigid, but having a study plan will help you avoid the many vagaries of exam preparation.

Count quality of study hours, not hours: You might sit in front of your books the whole day, and still not be able to properly get under the skin of what you are reading.

Get the book-combination right: By having the right books by your side, you can achieve big things. The right books in this sense means books that are easy to follow, explain the concepts with examples, and have little to no errors. NCERT books are examples of good books, as they not only explain all the concepts, but include illustrations and problems sets at the end of each section to fortify what you have learned.

Make short notes while studying: While studying, make it a habit to take notes. One benefit of doing it is it will improve your attention and keep you sharp.

Solve BITSAT sample papers:Sample papers contain similar type of questions to those asked in the entrance exam, so your ability in solving them is a reflection of how far your preparation has progressed.

Take mock tests: Along with sample papers, you must also take mock tests, especially since BITSAT 2018 will be a computer-based test (CBT).

Hope this helps!!!
