How should i prepare for CLAT since i'm in just class 11..
Hi Ram,
You are in class 11 and by end of 12, you will be sitting for the CLAT examinations so it is a great time to start preparations for CLAT. Do practice for the reasoning and mathematics section. Join some coaching institute for better preparations and a guideline on how to work.
To prepare for CLAT you should start reading the newspaper regularly for current affairs and read the editorials for the English section. You can also subscribe to various GK and current affair modules. Many people take coaching classes for CLAT too. The material they provide for preparing is very helpful. Maths section is based on your elementary maths till 10th. The Legal aptitude section is very important and will require a lot of practice. The quantitative and qualitative reasoning would also require practice.
Material by coaching Institutes like CL, Bulls eye etc are very helpful. Other than that you can use the books like Universal's guide to LLb, Arihant manual etc. You would require a lot of practice so you should look up previous year as well as sample question paper to practice it.
You should prepare each section well but lay special emphasis on Legal aptitude as well as the GK section as scoring well in these might give you an edge.
Also as you are just in 11th right now, for now you should only focus on developing a habit of reading newspaper for GK and english right now. You cab start preparing from next year.
Best of luck!
