How should I study for qualifying kvpy aptitude test and interview?Give a sure way for it.

Greetings Vrushali,Well studing for KVPY or for any competitive exams require proper planing.Plan your day to day activities accordingly.Here are some points that you keep in mind:

1.Create a schedule for everyday,according to your time.

2.Set targets,achieve those daily,Dont set your targets to high,just be sure that its moderate and you can achieve.Reward yourself for that(Ex-Give a additional 5 mins break,or have your fav food)

3.Dont go for a single subject for the whole day,it will be monotonous,go for two three subjects,divide the time.

4.Analyse and realise the applications of the topics in daily life.

5.Go for exercises daily.

6.Eat well,and sleep.for 8 hours.

For interview,clear your basics very nicely,improve your vocabulary and verbal abilities,be question specific.

And plan everything,whatever you do,it will help you and also try to execute them,execution matters a lot.

I have given the exam for KVPY but i was unable to qualify the 1st round itself. I have studied in FIITJEE VIZAG and from our FIITJEE only 7 people were able to qualify the pre and mains (INTERVIEW) and all of those 7 are right now in IIT BOMBAY. So if you seriously want to clear KVPY then study beyond the CBSE books and practice more problems which are harder than JEE ADVANCE QUESTIONS. For physics the best i would suggest is HC VERMA. Try to solve HC VERMA tough questions and not the easy one. For chemistry i would suggest OP TANDON. You muat follow a strict routine and atleast 9 hours of study every day. And if you will follow all these things then you can crack the written exam. Give 3 hours each to maths, physics and chemistry.

For interview focus more on basics as they ask easy questions but it requires proper knowledge of basics. The one such example is:

Interviewer :- WHAT IS 201x 199 ANSWER IN 5 SEC.

so the basic is (A+B) (A-B) =A^2-B^2.

So practice in this way.
