• Solve and practice as it is the most beneficial way of studying
• Make study schedule for each day and follow it
• Solve previous years question papers as it is very helpful to evaluate your preparation and also to give you an idea of how the questions are asked
• Leave ample time for revision

Hope you are doing great as per your question preparation of CAT exam requires lot of dedication and hard work first of all you should take some good books i.e RS agarwal and arun sharma these are some standard books from whch every students follow give sufficient time to each and every sections.
