Respected Sir,

It should be noted that for getting into NIT's you need somewhat nearby 150 . However these are for NIT's in North eastern states or Srinagar that don't provide much of the facilities that other NIT like Trichy provide.

So basically for good NIT's you need atleast 180.

Moreover , I would suggest you to look for private colleges rather than NIT's in North Eastern states and Srinagar.

Hope I was able to solve your query.

Thanking you.

Respected sir,

Actually…according to sources the cutoff marks for general category student is 81.

So according to that a positive and safe side score should be around 120(+/-5) …to get into NIT,dgp

So , I think with a score around 120 you'll be able to get get a seat in North eastern nit's .

Thank you.

Hello rahul,

I hope you are doing well.

First you have to mention from which category you belong to and i wont be able to tell you the exact marks.

But if you are from general category you have to get atleast 170 to conform you seat...Less than that no matter how much would be less.

Top 20 NIT are very reputed with very high quality education so will have to make yourself a contendor to fight for the seat.

I hope this helps!

BEST OF LUCK!

You need to get somewhere close to 150 marks to get into NIT and if your the state quota then you need to get a little less that would be a margin of around 20-30 marks so if you get somewhere close to 120 marks if you have the state quota then it would be also fine. Also I would like you to know that the top and it is have great infrastructure and placements so definitely go for it and all the best from my side, good luck mate.
