Choice filling is a very crucial step of counseling .You must keep two things in mind while choice filling -
1) Firstly you should apply in those colleges where you have chances of getting a seat depending upon your marks.One should apply in the decreasing order with the college with h highest cut off to be given first priority.
2)You must choose 6-7 colleges in which you have probability of getting a seat . Some students do the mistake of selecting 20-30 colleges at a time which would only lead to problems as it's not possible for an individual to be present at 2- 3 colleges at a time for the counseling.

Firstly the choice of filing is on your choice where as i would like to say fill ad per your rank range and make sure if you have any category then lookup that and fill it with refferring the cut of so that you can get better college apart crom this make preffernce with knowing the college fall under your rank category that are top give preference to it
