GATE 2025: Syllabus | Sample Papers
Hello,
GATE is one of the toughest exams in India. Although the cutoff score of all institutions changes every year according to the percentiles, one can predict the approximate cutoff score.
The very basic thing required to predict the cutoff is obtaining the cutoff score of past 5 - 10 years. Analyzing them one can predict the expected cutoff. Contacting the Administration Cell of the particular institute is also a good idea to know the cutoff score of that institute, after merit list is released.
If you talk about IITs, then the minimum percentile is 99 percentile to get into IITs and to get into NITs, your cutoff score should be above 95 percentile. The qualifying marks for Open category students is 25 marks or 25+, whichever is higher, depending upon the results.
Best Wishes.
Hello student you need to tally your gate score with the college cut off and if you've more marks than eligibility criteria that means you've sufficient marks. Incase if you're not able to do the same. Please help me with your gate marks and preferable college so that I can provide you exact information.
Feel free to comment if you have any doubt
Good luck
