Hello,
I hope you are from class 12 and are preparing to give your board exams.
In first place, Physical Chemistry does not involve memorization of many reactions and mechanisms. It rather involves calculus in some cases and is mostly conceptual.
To understand Physical Chemistry, you need to be conceptually strong. NCERT books are of great help to study Physical Chemistry. They might appear rather lengthy, but you can read through them with ease. Make sure you make notes with all the formulas and definitions.
Try this and believe me, Physical Chemistry is a lot of fun when you get to know it.
This section is also very scoring in the boards.
Hope this helps.
Thanks.
Hey Sairaj,
According to my personal experience, try to clear your concepts.
Clearing every concept is must and minutely understanding how chemical equations work.
Solve as many problems you can, practice more and more. Here are some books I would refer you to make your physical chemistry strong:
1. Physical Chemistry by O.P. Tandon
2. Modern Approach to Chemical Calculations by R.C. Mukharjee
3. Ranjit Shahi
4. Numerical Chemistry by P. Bahadur
5. Narendra Avasthi
Be focused and you definitely will crack your exams,
All the best for you future.
