Actually, jee main qualifying cut off percentile to be eligible for jee advanced is selected for different categories in such a way that only around a total of 2.5 lakh student becomes eligible for Jee advanced.
It's quite difficult to predict JEE mains qualifying cutoff to be eligible for JEE advanced examination as it keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like :-
*number of students that appeared in the jee main exam,
*kind of marks obtained by them ,
*toughness level of the jee main examination for different shift etc.

When we go through previous year trend then
JEE mains 2021 expected qualifying CUT OFF percentile to be eligible for JEE advanced is given below for different categories on the basis of past year trends :

jee advanced eligibility criteria is given below :-
-----) you need to pass your class 12th with at least 75% marks in aggregate in class 12 if belong to general or obc category or at least 65% marks if belongs to SC/ST or must be in the top 20 percentile in class 12 examination. For this year i. e 2021 this percentage requirement in class 12th has been lifted off.
----) You can give JEE advanced examination for the maximum of consecutive 2 years starting from the year of appearing for your 12th examination i. e to be eligible for JEE advanced 2021 your 12th board examination appearing year should be either 2021 or 2020 .
-----) There is upper age limit, according to which to be eligible for jee advanced 2021,you should be born on or after 1st October 1996. There is 5 years of age relaxation for SC, ST and PwD so candidates of SC/ST /PWD needs to be born on or after October 1, 1991.
