hi,
while you are answering a comprehensive type questions, you have to read carefully and mark the areas which would be useful for answering the question. however in jee main like exams , for subjects like physics, chemistry and mathematics conceptions of 11th and 12th standard should be very cleared. with out the knowledge of equations, formulas it would be very difficult to answer even for synopsis based questions.
also you must practice ample number of questions, follow standards books like tata macgraw, arihant jee mains mcqs books .
