HI Aspirant,
Hope you are doing well with your preparations!! For B. Tech course in any branch from any of the IITs you must have qualified JEE-Advance with good marks.
After the declaration of result of JEE-Advance seat allotment process starts by JOSAA(Joint Seat Allocation Authority). You have to apply for counselling conducted by JOSAA.
After all this you will get the branch as per your marks and preferences. If you want aeronautical engineering branch than you should mention that branch in first.

Hi,
To apply in any IITs under any field you first need to pass the JEE MAINS and then JEE Advanced then get a good enough rank in JEE Advanced the average cutoff according to the past years were- 3k to 5k in general category. Then you have to fill the JOSSA councelling 2020 and wait for results.
