Hi, Necessary qualification to apply for this designation is class 12th with science stream and must have a B.E degree in automobile engg. The package of a graduate engineer is somewhere 30K. Jobs are mainly in private sector than govt sector. Some of the top companies are Maruti, Bajaj, Ashok Leyland, Mahindra etc. Good Luck.
