Following is the procedure for admission in B.Tech course in College of Technology, Pantnagar:

• Candidates should qualify the entrance exam- Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main).

• Eligible candidates should register for the counselling process conducted by the Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU), Dehradun and choose College of Technology, Pantnagar as their preference.

• Admission is made on the basis of merit of the Joint Entrance Examination through the counselling carried out by Uttarakhand Technical University.

• Final admission is offered after seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.

Documents required for during admission is as a such:

• Confirmation page print out of application form.

• Copy of online fee receipt

• Self-attested copy of Uttarakhand/J&K domicile certificate (for UG only).

• Self-attested copy of category and weightage certificate.

• Self-attested copy of high school certificate and certificate/mark sheet of the qualifying examination. (Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination must send the mark sheet of the previous year.)

• Seat allotment letter.

• Receipt of counselling fee.

• Receipt of the programme fee.

• Self-attested photocopies of high school certificate and marks sheet along with the originals.

• Self-attested photocopies of Intermediate Certificate and marks sheet along with the originals.

• Self-attested photocopies of marks sheet and Certificate of any other higher degree qualifications that he/she may possess along with the originals.

• Domicile certificate of Uttarakhand State.

• Rural/Sports/Agriculturists weightage certificate (if applicable).

• Character and conduct certificate in original from the Head of the Institution last attended.

• 5 passport size photographs with name and roll number written on the back.

• Original copy of the valid category certificate.

• Solemn Voluntary declaration form.

• A gap certificate accounting for discontinuity of more than three months after leaving the Institution last attended.

• Migration/Transfer certificate in original to be submitted within three months of the admission.

• Medical fitness certificate in the prescribed format.
