If you have done mechanical engineering, you can apply for institutes directly like shipping corporation of India, Anglo-Eastern. if you want to pursue your career in merchant Navy only after mechanical engineering then go for that GME college which gives you sponsorship after completion of course

you will have to apply to institutes for which I. M. U. has started CET Which you have to apply for of you want to get admitted to institutes under IMU.
