In Delhi Technological University, in order to apply for a hostel room you need to download the Hostel Application form from the DTU official website, fill it and submit it within the specified date.

Based on the details that you provide, and other matters concerned a Hostel Application list will be released shortly after, where you will be alloted a room if you fulfill all the necessary criteria for securing a hostel room, which will be valid till the end of the said semester. After which you will have to reapply.

DTU has so far had the capacity to accommodate 1,600 students in 9 boy's and 6 girl's hostels. But now it has added 1 more hostel with more than 600 seats for girls and more than 300 for boys, increasing the total capacity to 2,600.
