Other state students cannot apply directly for MBBS/BDS seats in Tamil Nadu.they have to come through all India quota by applying in Neet examination only.

To be considered for admission to state quota seats, the candidate has to be a native of Tamil Nadu and should atleast study 5 years that is from class 8th to 12th in Tamil Nadu are considered native of Tamil Nadu and can apply directly.

Others have to get a nativity certificate to apply that is the parents of candidates should atleast live in Tamil Nadu for atleast 5 years to get a nativity certificate.
