As an Indian student, many people asks whether they can study law abroad or not. The answer is YES. You can study law abroad. The Bar Council of India recognizes education form many foreign universities from UK or US.
So, if you study law from abroad and want to practice in India then you need to apply for the registration to the respective State Bar councils once you return from abroad. After that, your application will be forwarded to the Bar Council of India and you will need to give an exam which is conducted twice a year on 6 subjects. The students who pass that exam are allowed to practice law in India.
Apart from this, you should take consultation on various aspects of studying law abroad by contacting to different foreign universities in order to have sufficient information regarding the course, I hope you get what I mean, you will have a detailed insight while contacting directly.
