How to apply for msc food science and technology

Masters if Science in Food Science and Technology is a 2 year full-time post-graduate course divides into 4 semesters. This program aims at training food engineers in understanding and applying latest scientific knowledge of the specialised field, acquiring professional familiarity with the various fields of natural and technical sciences and applying such professional knowledge creatively in the different branches of food industry.
Candidates applying for the course must fulfil the following eligibility criteria’s:
• Bachelor’s Degree in food science, or another such relevant discipline, completed from a recognised university.
• A minimum aggregate score of 50% ( 45% for SC/ST/OBC) at the level of graduation.
• Preferably, relevant industrial or professional experience.
• Candidates awaiting their graduation-level examination‘s results are also eligible to apply on a provisional basis.
The admission process in most institutes admits students based on their performance in a relevant entrance test like GATE, TANCET, and such. Some institutes also admit students based on their merit at the level of graduation, while some conduct their own entrance tests for offering admission. Therefore, the process generally varies across institutes.
