You can apply to IIMC, which is located near the JNU campus. If you wish to be a part of IIMC, you must apply separately. You can't get into IIMC by taking the JNUEE ( Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam).
The Indian Institute of Mass Communication Entrance Examination, commonly known as the IIMC Entrance Exam, is a written exam that consists of multiple-choice questions and descriptive type questions and is used to provide admission to PG Diploma and Certificate level programmes at various campuses. The IIMC is a self-contained institute within the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting that provides journalism courses in a variety of subjects.

From May 11 to 14, 2020, the Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam (JNUEE) will be held. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the JNUEE and JNU CEEB this year. JNUEE and JNU CEEB exams were held at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) till 2018. The JNUEE application forms will be available on the university's official website on March 2, 2020, with the deadline for submission set for March 31, 2020. On April 21, 2020, the JNUEE 2020 admit cards will be distributed.
Last year, 1,16,558 individuals applied for both the JNU Entrance Exam and the JNU CEEB, according to the NTA's official website. According to sources, a total of 1,05,000 students took the JNUEE 2019 exam in order to get admission to 131 courses.
Those interested in taking the JNUEE admission exam should follow the instructions outlined below.
The first step is to register.

Step 2: Fill JNUEE Application Form
Aspirants can apply for the JNU admission test in one of two ways: online or offline. Candidates can list up to three disciplines of study in order of choice on the same JNUEE application form. If an applicant submits more than one application for JNU admissions at the same programme level, their application will be rejected.
JRF holder candidates who sought for admission to Science Schools under the "JRF category" for MPhil/PhD or Pre-PhD/PhD through viva-voce test in addition to entrance exams. Those who apply for direct admission to the PhD programme.
Aspirants' application procedure will be considered complete only once they have filled out all of the required information on the JNUEE application form, attached a current passport-size photograph, signed in the space designated for signature, and paid the exam cost. JNUEE 2020 application fees can be paid via Demand Draft issued in favour of Jawaharlal Nehru University and payable in New Delhi.
Step 3: Download JNUEE Admit Card
Candidates must obtain their JNUEE 2020 admit card from the Jawaharlal Nehru University's official website. Filling up their application number or name and date of birth will allow them to download their admission card. Aspirants must bring a copy of their JNUEE admit card as well as their most recent passport-size photograph to their exam centre.
Step 4: Appear for JNUEE Exam
Aspirants must attend for the Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam on the dates, times, and locations specified on their admit cards. JNUEE is a three-hour examination that includes questions about the courses for which applicants have applied.
Step 5: Check JNUEE Result
Candidates can check their JNUEE results by entering information such as their programme of study, field of research, and application number/registration number on the official website of Jawaharlal Nehru University.
Step 6: Appear for Viva-Voce
Admission to majority of the courses offered at Jawaharlal Nehru University is based on a candidate's performance in the JNUEE test. Candidates who have been shortlisted for admission based on their performance in the Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam may be required to participate in a viva-voce round for various courses.
Step 7: Check JNU Final Merit List
The final merit list for JNU admissions is available on the university's official website. Candidates can verify their results by entering information such as their study programme, field of study, and application number/registration number.
