Dear Ashish,

Admission to most veterinary colleges is given on the basis of results obtained in the entrance examination conducted by the concerned universities. Veterinary Council of India conducts an All India Pre Veterinary Test (AIPVT) for admission to first year of BVSc & Animal Husbandry degree course for filling up seats of each veterinary college of all states including colleges like Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat, Bihar Veterinary College, Patna, Birsa Agricultural University, Ranchi, Bombay Veterinary Science College, Mumbai, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bikaner . This Entrance exam is usually held in the month of May each year.

In 2017, the admission in BVSc courses were done on the basis of NEET 2017 Score.
