M.Sc. in (Master of Science) Mathematics is a postgraduate mathematics course. The course duration is two years and is divided into four semesters.
To be eligible for the course, students must have graduated from a recognised university with a minimum of a 50 percent grade point average. Students with a B.Sc./B.Tech./B.E. degree, on the other hand, are favoured. Some colleges, on the other hand, hold their own admissions examinations that candidates must pass in order to be admitted to that specific college. M.Sc. in Mathematics disciplines include Real Analysis, Algebra, Number Theory, Probability Theory, and others. General courses such as physics and chemistry are also included in the curriculum.
This subject is offered by a number of institutions and universities, such as St. Xavier's College, Alagappa University, St. Stephens College, and many more. This course is also available through distant learning institutes such as IGNOU, Periyar University, and many other .

The MSc Mathematics is the course that is two year Postgraduate course where the duration is two years and there are 4 semesters where the students would be exposed to have a detail research and knowledge in maths for the two years. The Degree is an advanced Mathematics by a vast preference and they are made to analyze big data with good research methodology.
For the admission of MSC Mathematics:
The candidate must have completed the BSC(Mathematics) or BSC(Mathematics with computer science Applications) or any relevant degree of mathematics and there should be minimum 60%marks in aggregate marks in any of the degrees stated above. Few universities will be allowing students and take admission on merit and the for few top most universities a good score in CUCET, IIT JAM, DUET is to be considered.
