Other state student cannot give KCET Examination as it is a state level entrance examination and only students from Karnataka can give this type of xam. KCET is only for the students who belong from Karnataka . If you want to take admission in the private colleges of Karnataka you can appear for COMEDK exam.

No. other state students can not apply for KCET. it is the exam only conducted for the students who have Karnataka Domicile. if other state students want to apply for any private colleges in Karnataka, then they can apply for COMEDK exam.
According to the eligibility criteria of KCET 2022:
Candidate must have studied in one or more Government or Government recognised educational institutions in the State of Karnataka for a minimum of SEVEN academic years, beginning with 1st standard and ending with 2nd PUC / 12th standard as of 1st July 2022, and must have appeared and passed either SSLC / 10th standard or 2nd PUC / 12th standard examinations from Karnataka State.
Candidates must have studied and passed either the first and second year Pre-University Examination or the eleventh and twelfth standard examination within the State of Karnataka from an Educational Institution run or recognised by the State Government, and one of the parents must have studied in Karnataka for a minimum of SEVEN years.
A candidate who is the son or daughter of a member of the armed forces and has worked continuously in Karnataka for a minimum of one year during the two-year period of study for candidates in PUC / 11th and 12th Standard.
Wards of serving or retired Central Armed Police Force Service employees whose parents stated that his/her home town was in Karnataka at the time of joining the CAPF Service (Central Armed Police Force) must submit proof of his/her domicile from the Record Office of the CAPF Unit where the Parent's service record is kept. Candidates in this category must have passed the qualifying examination from a recognised university, board, or other institution located anywhere in India.
