How to balance both NEET and board syllabus
NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
I can understand it is quiet challenging to handle both boards and NEET but you can to do this very easily by managing your time well and dividing your time by planning
What I suggest you to do is just now focus on your 12 part just go through the NCERT very well you should be very much familiar with the NCERT specially for BIOLOGY and chemistry practice Exemplar questions of all the three subjects as that will help you both in NEET as well as your boards .... Give your time to those topics which have more weightage in NEET like in biology GENETICS , ECOLOGY, Molecular basis of inheritance , Reproduction in flowering plants and humans . In Chemistry organic chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry and also when you are doing Inorganic Chemistry so just try that if you can take some topics from 11 Inorganic Chemistry .And for physics Modern physics you can do fast as it is easy and you have to memorize more in it so just maintain a copy with you in which you write all the formulas so everyday before starting just you take a look on it or a quick revision .. you should daily set a target to solve 100 questions daily and set a time limit for 100 questions try to solve such questions in 35 minutes for BIOLOGY and for physics and chemistry in theory questions try that each questions take only 45 seconds or less and for numericals 2 min or accordingly you can do .... Take the printout of omr sheet from Net and keep it with you and use it when you are solving mcqs daily ...After your boards exam join test series of any well known Institute so that you get some idea .. And for 11 part if it is possible to now you can start with 11 biology daily one chapter you can do if you are left with some extra time or else if it is not possible so you can do it when you are done with your boards .. Now what you can do is that just do your 12 portion very strong so that after your boards you can focus more on your 11 part ...More importantly just do not forget to do previous years questions it will give you very much idea about the paper.. And just start doing some books like Dinesh , Trueman , NCERT at your fingertips
For physics GRB , if possible then HC Verma..
And for chemistry Universal self scorer and NCERT at your fingertips..
Don't worry and just start preparing ..
May this will help
All the best
Hi Syed,
It is all about Time Management. Though it is important to crack NEET, you are not even eligible for it if you fail to clear your boards. Also, NEET syllabus is very much more complicated than Boards. You need to be clear with your Boards basics first. Then, you must go for NEET syllabus. You need to devote as much time as you can towards productive studies. You can do that by making a timetable and sticking to it. Make sure you leave enough time for play and relaxation as a relaxed mind has more absorption power than a tired one.
