how to become a agriculture scientist full details
This is a growing field and it will gain it's importance in the near future, due to the current situation of the World. Starting from the first, you need to take up Science stream in your 10+2 level.
After that you need to decide whether you will do BSc or B.Tech . If you wish to do B.Tech, then you need to appear from JEE Main, or any other state level entrance exam. You can do B.Tech in subjects like agriculture, microbiology, biotechnology, food technology, and other food or agriculture related subjects. The subjects remain same for BSc as well, only these entrance exams are not required.
Then you need to do M.Tech in Agriculture (if you have done B.Tech) or MSc in Agriculture (if you have done BSc).
After that comes your PhD. You need to do PhD in this subject to become an agriculture scientist. Then you can perform researches in your area of specialisation.
You can also clear the ARS exam. This is a competitive exam conducted for recruitment of scientist vacancies in Agricultural Research Services (ARS). The eligibility criteria states that you need to have a master's degree in your concerned subject.
