how to become a CID officer? which course selected to study after 12th to become a CID officer?

Hey there,

No such fixed bachelor's degree is required to become a CID officer. But to be specific you can pursue Graduation in criminology, clear UPSC and join the CID team.

Eligibility criteria for a CID officer are :-

=> Academic qualification required for this exam is graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

=> The candidate age limit to apply for the exam should be in between 20 years to 27 years.Age is relaxed for OBC candidates by 3 years and 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 10 years for PWD candidate.
