The valiant boys could be part of the Indian Air Force family by applying for NDA( National Defence Academy)
Candidates, short-listed for Indian Air Force after the initial selection procedure, go through a rigorous three-year training regimen at the National Defence Academy at Khadakwasla, followed by specialised training at one of the training establishment. Thereafter, they are Commissioned as Permanent Commission Officers and posted as officers at any of the Air Force Stations.
To be in the NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY
You can join NDA by taking the exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). This exam is conducted twice a year in all major cities throughout India.

Some ways in which candidates can become an Indian Air Force (IAF) pilot are:
National Defence Academy (NDA), Combined Defence Services Exam (CDSE), NCC entry and Short Service Commission Entry (SSC) are the courses that are the only path to get into IAF as a Flying Officer.
In order to become a fighter pilot you need to give NDA exam after class 12.The candidates who qualify the examination will have to undergo a three years training at NDA followed by flying training at Air Force Training establishments to become Permanent Commission Officers’ or as Pilots at any IAF Station.
You can also give CDS exam after completing your graduation. According to the eligibility you need to clear your BA/BSc/BCom course from a UGC-recognised university or BE/BTech. You also need Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects in your 10+2. After graduation AFCAT exam also enables you to become fighter pilot.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE) twice a year for recruitment into Indian Airforce.After qualifying the exam, one has to undergo training to get a Permanent Commission.

Joining the Indian Air Force as a Pilot, There are three routes
Through CDSE only men can apply and you get a Permanent Commission. Through AFCAT you can get a Short Service Commission (SSC), which has a duration of 14 years with no further extension. Both male and female candidates can apply. Through the NCC Special Entry, you can apply to the Flying Branch as an Air Wing Senior Division ‘C’ Certificate holder of the National Cadet Corps (NCC). Both men and women can join the Air Force
