Hey buddy!!!

Good to see you that you have taken a great decision to become an IAS officer. I am happy ro see you that you know what you want to do right from class 12th. I think this is perfect time to start your preparation. But some points that you have to keep in mind .

  1. You need to be a graduate in order to be eligible for Civil Services exam.So, you have 3+ years ahead of you to prepare yourself for the exam.You have got more 3 years for grow your skills and knowledge .
  2. Choose your graduation stream very carefully so that you can prepare for UPSC alongside.
  3. Start reading newspaper,Make your notes and do revise sometimes.
  4. In your 3rd year, start thinking about the preparation seriously and target your first attempt right after graduation. Build your base during first 2 years.

Hello,

The minimum eligibility criteria to be eligible for UPSC exam is that the candidate must have a graduation degree i.e. the person must be a graduate, so get a degree for 3 years, and in between all this time, prepare hard for UPSC exam.

Choose your graduation stream wisely, so that you can side by side prepare for your exam along with your graduation.

Start reading newspaper daily and keep updated with the latest news.

Read NCERT books and try to solve the modules.

Make proper notes, so that it will be easy for you to study.
