To start an aviation career there are two ways ,one is Civil Aviation (Non-Military Aviation/ Commercial Pilot) and the other is Indian Defence Forces (Air Force).You need to have minimum 50% in 12th,in physics.chemistry and math(you need to have 50+ in all 3 subjects ) to join a flying school. Commonly B.Sc in Aviation is the course chosen, for which the selection criteria will include a written Examination,a pilot aptitude test ,personal interview and DGCA Medical examination. The minimum age to apply for Pilot License, are as follows:
Student Pilot License is 16 years
Private Pilot License is 17 years
Commercial Pilot License is 18 years

You can find out more, and the fee structure will vary with each college , so it is best of you search in the official website of the college you wish to join. In India , the pilot training cost may go around 30-40 lakhs . Note that it may vary based on various general factors and the institute.
How to become a pilot:
As I had mentioned earlier , you can either become a commercial pilot or join air force. To join air force the best entry is by clearing the NDA (National Defence Academy)exam and joining the institute for training. You are elgible to appear for this exam after class 12. Do search and learn more about the same.
The next option is that after graduation, you may clear Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE). Upon selection you will be sent for training at the Air Force Academy, Hyderabad, wherein they undergo Pre-Flying Training School. Post Completion of the training, the commissioned officers are assigned their flying units.
There is Short Service Commission as well which is an entry scheme where, candidates cannot serve in the Indian Air Force for more than 14 years.To join this branch, the candidates have to qualify the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT).
