First of all, it is great that you want to become a scientist. Now, your marks are pretty good so if there is any admission based on merit, you will most probably get a seat. But to study in premier colleges of India, the criterion is a bit different.
UG programmes that are related to nature-
I)B.Sc in Botany/ Zoology/ Environmental Science/Agriculture/Aquaculture/Forestry etc.
While some are a more generalized field, some are more specific to one field (such as forestry to forests). So, you can choose any other them according to your interest and get a UG Degree in that programme. After completion, you can go for M.Sc in relevant fields and then further for Ph.D. and research.

ELIGIBILITY-
The admission to the various B.Sc. courses is done on the basis of qualifying class 12th examinations in (PCM/B) stream.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE-
After the announcement of results, the universities release the online application forms which are to be filled before the deadline. After the cut-offs are released and if you are eligible, you need to apply for that college and course. Refer to the official websites of the universities to know the details.
II)B.Sc (Research) from IISc, Bangalore
Many budding scientists who have a penchant for research opt for this institution and course. Indian Institute of Science (IISc) has been ranked first in the 'university' and 'overall' category for the last three consecutive years in the NIRF rankings (by the Government of India). In international rankings too, it is the best ranked Indian institution.
The major advantage of this course is that from starting, your focus is on research and that too in the best institute.
ELIGIBILITY (for 2019)
• Candidates who have completed their II PUC / 12th Standard in 2018 and those who are expecting to complete their II PUC / 12th
• Standard in 2019 is eligible to apply. The candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main
• subjects during their II PUC / 12th Standard. Candidates who have studied Biology, Statistics, Electronics, Computer Science,
• etc., in addition to Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are also eligible to apply. The candidates must have secured a first class
• or 60% or equivalent grade (relaxed to pass class for SC/ST candidates) in the II PUC / 12th Standard examination.

• Fellowship], KVPY-SA and SX Fellows selected through the Empowerment Initiative for SC/ST candidates, IIT-JEE-Main [appearing in 2019 and securing a minimum of 60% (GN), 54% (OBC-NCL), 54% (EWS), 30% (SC/ST/PWD)], IIT-JEEAdvanced [appearing in 2019 and securing a minimum of 60% (GN), 54% (OBC-NCL), 54% (EWS), 30% (SC/ST/PWD)], and
• NEET-UG [appearing in 2019 and securing a minimum of 60% (GN), 54% (OBC-NCL), 54% (EWS), 30% (SC/ST/PWD)].
But the cut-offs are very high. Only the best students from all over India are able to get admission. So, just like you did well in academics, do well in entrance exams too.
