Hello,

To become an investment banker you first need to complete you class 12th in either science or commerce stream. Having maths in class 12th will be a plus. After that you need to complete your 3 or 4 year bachelors degree. Some of the courses which will help you in becoming Investment Banker and that you can opt for are -

  • Bachelors of Technology (B.tech)
  • Bachelors of Commerce (B.Com)
  • Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA)
  • Bachelors of Management Studies (BMS)
  • Bachelors of Science in Economics, Maths, Finance or Statistics

After completing your undergraduate degree you have to appear for Chartered Financial Analyst  course offered by CFA Institute. It offers courses related to finance and investment baking. You need to clear three level of exams of CFA to get certified. After you have completed the three levels you can join firms like Citi group, Goldmansachs, Morgan Stanley, KPMG etc as an Investment Banker.
