As according to the data To become an Astronomer scientist a Ph.D diploma is compulsory.

First, you have to complete your 10+2 exam beneath the science stream, specially in Mathematics

Physics.

After that, you may be part of an undergraduate direction in Astronomy. You can be part of for an

honors/primary in Physics with Mathematics as a secondary subject.

Thereafter, you may be a part of postgraduate diploma in Physics or Astronomy.

After competing master degree, you could do specialization in astronomy leading to Ph. D

Have you completed your 12th?
