Go for 10+2 with PCM and Statistics if possible. Then you can go for BTech Data Science/ BSc Data science form different colleges. You have an opportunity to do a BSc (Research) course in Data Science at IIT MADRAS. The course is a distance course but you will get a full time degree from IIT MADRAS as well as a research experience. This can be a great opportunity for you. In order to become data scientist Students are expected to complete the 10 + 2 successfully by obtaining at least 50 per cent marks from any recognised board of India in the science stream consisting of physics, chemistry, and mathematics, computer science as compulsory subjects.
