How to become Drug inspector from MPSC ?
Hello,
To become a Drug Inspector a candidate needs to have completed his Graduation in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Science or Clinical Pharmacology or Micro-biology or Medicine or any other equivalent qualification with these specializations from a recognized university or institution.
- You are usually required to hold a degree in Pharmacy or Medicine or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Degrees with specialisation in Microbiology or Clinical Pharmacology are usually preferred.
- Minimum age 21 and maximum is 30. ( Relaxation to reservation categories)
- The recruitment of Drug Inspectors is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) and different SPSCs (State Public Service Commission).

Must have put in a service of not less than eighteen months of experience in the manufacturing and or testing of schedule C and / or C1 drugs included in the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945.

For becoming a drug inspector you must have a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy. The recruitment of Drug Inspectors is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) and MPSC. These authorities conduct entrance exams for the position of Drug inspector when there are vacancies. The main responsibility is to examine the pharmaceutical products at various stage 2 in the quality and how much safe that for humans.
