Hello,

Yes one can make a career in gynaecology after completing the BAMS degree.

Diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics is a specialization diploma course that can be pursued after completion of either MBBS or BAMS course.

The post graduation Diploma program is for complete 2 years.

Following is the eligibility criteria that every aspirant has to fulfill if they wish to pursue this course -

50% in the MBBS or BAMS system from a recognized college/university.

Average fees for the whole course is approximately Rs 20,000 to 3 Lakh per Annum.

Also you can become A Gynaecologist and obstetric surgeon in Ayurved after completing B.A.M.S. and cracking Ayush PG Entrance after getting seat in M.S.( Stri roga & Prasooti tantra) .

I hope you find the answer helpful.

Thank you
