The requirements to become a licensed Psychologist in India are-
  • Pass 10+2 exam preferably with psychology as one of the subjects. If you don't have psychology in 12th, still you can do BA psychology.
  • After completion of 12th, you can go for B.Sc Psychology or B.A. Psychology.
  • For master's degree programme, you have to select your specialization. During Master's you have to do internships.
  • On completion of your Master's degree, you can go for M.Phil or Post graduation Diploma. But to practice as a Psychologist, it is mandatory to get an RCI recognized license.
Practical Exposure is a crucial thing, so do as many internships as possible.
