Hello Pavankumar Sooreddy. Thanks for contacting Careers360 and we hope we will be able to answer your query.

As I have answered in an earlier question of yours, you can definitely apply to colleges in Tamilnadu through Anna University's other state quota.

The cutoffs for the TN state board are generally calculated as follows (all marks are out of 200):

  • Cutoff:= (Maths marks)/2 + (Physics marks + Chemistry marks)/2

I would advice you to convert your marks to 200 and calculate the cutoff on this basis. Hope this helps you and all the best!

Is it only 12th std marks?? Or both 11th and 12th??
Reply
Jenitha Reddy In Tamil Nadu, only considering the 12th Marks, for equating in the same manner only the 12th Marks of other Boards needs to be considered for cutoff calculation
