For applying to B.Sc hons mathematics the eligibility is -
50% marks in Mathematics and an aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination.
Merit shall be determined on the basis of one language, Mathematics and two best academic / elective subjects as specified in List A and List B in information brochure
So for calculating the best of four marks you have to select mathematics and language two subject compulsory. For selecting otuer two subjects you can use any two subject in which you have obtained higher percentage mentioned in list A or List B of the information brochure.
So beside mathematics and one language you should select those two subjects in which you obtained higher percentage of marks.
So for example you can use following combination of subject -

the calculation for best of four is very easy .first you must include maths as you wants maths as main subject. then you can include chemistry and physics +one language ( core/elective /functional) .go through this link it might help you a lot
