HI,

Maths, Physics, and Chemistry marks are considered in calculating TNEA cut off.

Follow the steps:

1. Divide your maths mark by 2.

2. Divide your Physics mark by 4.

3. Divide your chemistry mark by 4.

4. Add the above 3 values.

The total value you get is your TNEA cutoff.

GOOD LUCK

Why don't you read the question  when answering. Now the subject mark is 100. Supposed to be out of 100

Hello Candidate,

You  need to Divide the physics and chemistry marks by 4 and Divide the Maths mark by 2, Add the 3 results you will get the engineering Cutoff marks out of 200. The formula is simple CutoffMark = (Physics / 4) + (Chemistry / 4) + (Maths / 2) , and you'll get your marks for TNEA .

all the best:)

Cutoffs of each Engineering Institute will be released by TNEA on its official website itself, so that we can know which colleges we have more chances in.

Application form for TNEA will be available only through online mode. About 1.5 lakh seats are available through TNEA counselling. Tentative date (predicted date) for online registration to start is on first week of May.
